Oh, la, la, Paris!

Well, coincidentally, I really want to go to France, same as the teacher! I have been interested in visiting France since I was a child. When I was at school I had the oportunity to know about the French culture, I learned the language which I can understand (mostly read), and also, I had a very nice teacher who taught me about Paris, the city. I learned about the Eiffel`s tower, L`arc du triomphe, Le Louvre, Les touileries, Notre Dame, and more. Since about a year ago I have had a very good friend who is French herself. With her, I have had the opportunity to learn more about French writers, philosophers, painters, poets, film directors, and to dig deeper in their work, understanding also the context of their culture. Something that is very interesting for me is the French history, their fundamental role in the development of politics around the world. French revolution, the human rights declaration, the Algeria war, and right now, France involvement in the war against ISIS. At the present I am learning more about the language and I`d really like to go to France, to study, or at least, to go on vacations for a short period.

  3. No comments about the food?? it`s the best thing what they have! Your friend didn’t introduce you to the most important part of a culture. Jokes apart what French authors do you like? And if you can and if you want recommend an interesting film. I can recommend "La planète sauvage" (a strange and surrealism film) and "a cat in paris" both are animated.
